How do I book in for a tattoo?

A few tips for a smooth booking process:
- Include any reference images that you've seen and like
- Tell me where you would like the tattoo to go, including left or right if applicable
- Let me know a rough size in cm, or send a picture circling roughly how large you would like it on your body
- Mention early on if you have any date or time preferences so I can try and fit you in at a time that works for you
What's your availability?
I regularly post my availability on my Instagram story, and keep the highlight "Availability" updated in my bio.
I generally work between Tuesdays and Saturdays 10-3pm every week, but this can vary.
Weekend slots book up very fast so please be mindful when booking that you may need to wait a few weeks to get a Saturday space.
Do you take deposits?
I take non refundable deposits on all bookings.
Bookings are not final until the deposit is received.
Life happens, if you need to reschedule I'm open to moving your booking once, but please make sure you tell me as soon as you know you're not going to be able to make your booking slot!
Do you take walk ins or only custom tattoos?
I'm happy to take on both walk ins and custom tattoos!
I regularly post on my stories if I have walk in space for the day, so if you fancy something little and you're in the area please do drop in.
If your idea is a little more complex I may suggest booking you in for a later date to give us some more time to sketch.
What are your prices?
Pricing is based on lots of factors including:
- Size of the tattoo
- Complexity of design
- Placement on the body
With all of that in mind, I do most often charge by the piece - Please send me any and all info about what you're looking to get and I will be able to give you a quote.
For smaller pieces, my minimum charge is £50.
How do I care for my new tattoo?
I will talk you through aftercare on the day of your appointment, but in case you forget, here's my general rules of thumb
- I will send you home wrapped in clingfilm. This can come off when you get home, or within 2 hours. It's main purpose is to protect your fresh tattoo from your clothes immediately after your appointment.
- Wash the first night with just water (and please make sure you have clean hands when touching it!)
- From day two, wash gently with clean hands, water and a plain unscented soap - I generally recommend Dove soap bars.
- Also from day two, start moisturising twice per day with a tiny amount of either Palmers Cocoa Butter (the unscented one in the tub), or with a tattoo balm which you can purchase at Wolf Ink.
- Please avoid baths, pools, sea, sun, dirt and sand whilst healing to give you the best chance of avoiding infection, and for your tattoo to heal well.
- Your tattoo will take around 3-4 weeks to heal, this timing varies from person to person, but once your tattoo feels part of your skin and there's no redness, flaking, or raised areas you should be good to go.
- Once you've given your tattoo time to settle, if you find any parts of your tattoo that need a touch up please get in touch. I'm very happy to offer free touch ups within 6 months of your original appointment to keep your tattoo looking ship shape!
